MSTF 2009 Symposium: 2:00-4:00 Friday July 24 in Carson Ballroom in Old Main.


Our Symposium will be from 2:00-4:00 Friday July 24 in the Carson Ballroom, which is located on the second floor of Old Main.
Old Main is indicated as "MAIN" on the map. We recommend that visitors park in the Visitor Parking of the Fulton Center (coodinates D-3-4 on the map) (Download map pdf document by clicking HERE.)

MSTFs: Please arrive no later than 1:45 to set up your poster area!

Prof. Paul Davies, renowned theoretical physicist and author, will speak to our MSTF group at 3:00 PM Thursday July 16, 2009 in the regular classroom, PSH-135. His topic will be The Origin of Life. For further information about Prof. Davies, please see his web site or the Wikipedia article.

MSTF Equipment and Supply Orders


Now is a good time to think about what equipment and supplies you will need in your classroom to support your MSTF activity. Please go the the "How to Order Items" page for more information.

Laptops, robots, etc. are in!


Directions to University Center:
See the ASU Parking Map (pdf)University Center B is at map coordinates H/I- 3/4; it’s on the north side of University Drive, approximately 1/4 mile east of Rural Road. The building you want has the number 1130 on it. You will go to Room 203 on the second floor (go down the long hall to the end).

You will have to complete a form or two, and you may have to install some software.

Note for Robotics MSTFs:

  • Teachers receiving MacBooks will need Windows and Parallels. If Parallels is not available at University Center, it must be purchased at the ASU Computer Store (Sun Card required). USB Bluetooth device is NOT needed.
  • Teachers receiving PCs will also need a USB Bluetooth device.
